Melissa Danner

I am a small business owner, coach, wife and mother of 3.

Growing up in Central Illinois, my first passion was competitive running (Melissa Straza). That took me around the country and eventually to the University of Illinois as a student athlete. At the U of I, I met my now husband Michael (http://michaeldanner.typepad.com). We got married and started a family. Life has been a blur ever since.

For the past 12 years, we have lived in a small town called Metamora, IL. It was here, in between soccer games, track meets, choral concerts and the stuff of life, that I learned to sew.

I've always been a creative person but it is through my business, My Favorite Things, that I am able to combine my love of new and vintage fabrics, creativity and sewing into a business.
